Aizu lacquer ware has a history of 400 years.
The foundation for lacquer ware industry was laid by Gamou Uzisato who invited artisans from Oumi.
We selected him wearing his characteristic jet-black helmet as our theme of the work to make people imagined there resolutions and delicate and bold work cool.
Our work expressed history of Aizu lacquer ware and Uzisato.
